I've been headhunted! Vicki from Sir Peter Blake Trust has asked me if I'd be interested in writing a book about New Zealand's seas. What an honour! Straight away I think of writing it as a ship's log. My mum sailed around New Zealand with her partner Lee Middleton several years ago - I could get some ideas from their log entries. |
I want to make the book interactive - so kids can read bits and do activities - to make it more interesting for them so it's not just a book the parents would buy for projects.

"I have huge amount of respect for Sir Peter Blake. He achieved so much and the Blake Expeditions just showed more of what a great person he was. It was a real honour to put some of his words into this book."
